Fees and the split
pump.fun pays a creator fee on every trade of a coin to the coin's creator. On LOADED the creator is the vault program, and the program splits every lamport it collects 80 / 5 / 10 / 5: vault / AI treasury / $LOADED buyback and burn / sponsor-pool backers. The person who launched the coin gets 0%.
The split#
Anyone can call collect_fees. It pulls the creator fees that arrived on pump.fun (and PumpSwap after graduation) and splits them in the same instruction. Each share is a platform parameter, bounded in the program; the vault keeps whatever the other three leave.
| Share | Goes to | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 80% | The coin's own vault | An inflow. Floor mode: all of it is ammo behind the floor bid. Burn / Pulse / Diamond: 50% becomes backing you can redeem at, the rest feeds the mode. |
| 5% | The AI treasury wallet | Pays for moderation, the launch assistant and narration. What it pays for. |
| 10% | The $LOADED buyback pool | The agent buys $LOADED with it and burns every token. Buyback and burn. |
| 5% | The public sponsor pool | Income for depositors, vesting over the pool's vest period. The public pool. |
| 0% | The creator | Nothing. The launch form has no fee setting. |
The three non-vault shares wait on the launch (ai_pending, burn_pending, backers_pending) until anyone calls the permissionless sweep_fees, which sends each to its one fixed destination and emits FeesSwept. The agent sweeps a launch once its pendings add up to about 0.01 SOL. Donations sent straight to a vault are not split: they are 100% inflow.
What the floor grows on#
In Floor mode the vault's 80% is all ammo (Diamond keeps 50% of it back as backing). The floor is set so that ammo could buy 10% of circulating supply. So a coin with creator fee rate f and traded volume V gets, from fees alone:
- On the bonding curve f is about 0.30% of volume, so every 100 SOL traded lifts the floor MC by roughly k × 0.3 SOL.
- Profit from selling into pumps and donations are inflows too and raise the floor further; they are not split by this fee rule. Every inflow also repairs strength after a dump.
- The vault's own trades pay the creator fee like anyone's; the vault gets its share back, the rest leaves through the split.
Fee money is small next to memecoin flows. A coin that trades little grows a small floor. The split does not change that, and no share of it goes to holders directly.
