Modes
The creator picks one mode at launch and it is frozen. The mode decides what the vault does with its share of fees and profit. Floor mode is 100% ammo: no backing, nothing to redeem. Burn, Pulse and Diamond keep 50% of every inflow as backing you can redeem at, and spend the rest on the mode. The fee split, the sponsor's first buy and its repayment are the same everywhere.
| Mode | What the vault does | Who signs | The floor shown | Backing / redeem |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Floor (default) | Bids a stored floor that only moves up, rationed per hour; sells into pumps | buy_floor: anyone. Sales: the agent | The defended floor, with its strength | None — NothingToRedeem |
| Burn | Buys at or under the reference price and burns every token at once | buy_burn: the agent; anyone after 1 day idle | The backing (no floor bid) | 50% of inflows; redeem any time |
| Pulse | Small spaced buys when the chart goes flat; sells them back at a profit | pulse_buy and pulse sales: the agent | The backing (no floor bid) | 50% of inflows; redeem any time |
| Diamond | Floor, but sells nothing under a high multiple once the sponsor is paid | buy_floor: anyone. Sales: the agent | The defended floor, with its strength | 50% of inflows; redeem any time |
The platform admin can switch modes off for future launches with set_modes_enabled (Floor is always on). A coin's mode never changes after launch. $LOADED itself is a Floor coin.
Floor#
Dumps get bought at the floor. Pumps get sold. The floor only steps up. The whole vault is the floor bid: every inflow is ammo, and the whole first buy goes into tokens, so the floor starts with the vault's first sale into a pump. The stored floor ratchets to the price at which the ammo could buy 10% of circulating supply, and buy_floor (anyone can call it) fills only at or under the floor, at most 15% of the ammo per 1 hour. Strength — ammo ÷ ammo at the last step — says how much of the bid is left; the pool's operator may reinforce a broken one. The agent sells into pumps above the coin's sell threshold (1.3× by default for creator-funded coins, 2× for pool-funded) or the tokens' cost. Floor and strength.
Burn#
Fees buy the dip and burn it. Supply only goes down, so the backing per token only goes up.
- Buys only while the price is at most 0% above the slow reference price, so it never chases a pump (a front-run above that makes the burn fail).
- Paced: at most 20% of the bucket per 5 minutes, and at most 10% price move per buy. Every token bought is burned in the same instruction (
VaultBurned). - The agent signs. If no burn has happened for 1 day, anyone may call
buy_burnwith the same bounds and no reward. - No defended floor:
buy_floorfails and the floor the site shows is the backing.
Pulse#
When the chart goes quiet, the vault buys a little, then sells it back into the next pump. Every pulse is a public Pulsed event, labelled on the coin page.
- Band: buys only within 10% under and 1% over the reference — a flat or sagging chart, never a pump, never a crash.
- Size: at most 10% of the bucket per buy and 40% per rolling day.
- Spacing: at least 5 minutes after the last pulse and after the last vault sale, so the vault never round-trips.
- Pulse tokens sell only at 1.5× or more of max(their cost, the backing), and while the sponsor is unpaid only where the sponsor's inventory can't sell.
- Only the agent signs. A leaked agent key could make the vault buy at most the day cap, inside the band, and never sell those tokens at a loss.
Diamond#
After the sponsor is paid, the vault sells nothing under 10×. Floor, plus one rule: every sale of the floor bid's tokens, and every inventory sale once the sponsor has its return (125% of the first buy by default), needs an average fill of at least 10× × max(floor, backing, cost). Until then the inventory sells above the coin's sell threshold (1.3× by default for creator-funded coins, 2× for pool-funded), so the sponsor is repaid exactly as in Floor.
What the backtest says#
Each mode was replayed on real one-minute candles (75 graduated runners) and on synthetic weak, flash and dead coins, with a 1 SOL first buy. The figures below are from docs/MODES.md §M4. They are simulations, not promises.
- No mode moves the price much. When the crowd trades the vault's impact back toward the chart, no mode moves the price by more than ±0.2% on average. The mode decides what holders are owed, not the chart.
- If the vault's impact persists (an upper bound): Burn ends 3–17 points above Floor on 87–100% of paths; Pulse ends 3–6 points above Floor on weak, flash and dead coins but is mixed on runners; Diamond helps runners (+2.7 points median) and half the weak coins, and does nothing for flash or dead coins.
- Protection. Floor's protected share of the price grows to about 6% (dead) to 33% (runners). Burn and Pulse protect only the backing: 2–10%.
- The sponsor doesn't care. Weighted over a realistic mix (80% dead coins), the sponsor gets 107% back on average, the full 125% in 31% of launches and its principal back in 76%, in every mode.
- The typical launch is a dead coin. On it, Floor shows a floor of about 2.2 SOL MC under a 32 SOL price; Burn and Pulse show about 0.57 SOL of backing. None of them changes whether the coin dies.
In every mode#
Outside an admin withdrawal, the stored floor never decreases, and on Burn, Pulse and Diamond the backing per token never decreases either. Admin powers.
