The public pool
Anyone can put SOL into the sponsor pool and get shares. The pool pays launches' first buys, is repaid from those tokens, and earns 5% of every collected fee. Your shares are your cut of all of it — and of its losses.

Shares and NAV#
deposit mints shares at the current share price. The pool's value (NAV) counts sponsored first buys at their unrepaid principal, never at the coin's market price:
- Deposits are at least 0.05 SOL, and the pool stops taking them at a NAV of 500 SOL. Deposits may also be closed by the pool authority.
- Income vests over 7 days: sponsor premiums, the backers' fee share, forfeited bonds, launch fees and recoveries flow into the share price gradually, so nobody can deposit just before income lands and leave with it.
- Losses hit at once: write-offs of dead coins, impairments, the $LOADED credit premium, and admin withdrawals. A loss bigger than NAV comes out of unvested income first, so NAV stops at 0 instead of going negative.
- At most 80% of NAV is out in launches at once (and never more than 300 SOL).
How the pool funds a launch: the queue#
The pool never sponsors on request. A creator who wants the pool's first buy joins the launch queue with submit_launch: no coin exists yet, the pool reserves its one loan size, 45 SOL, for that entry, and the creator posts a bond of max(0.05 SOL, 3% of the loan). The entry launches only when the public has put 10 SOL of credit behind it; otherwise it expires after 1 day and the reservation is released.
| Step | Who | What moves |
|---|---|---|
submit_launch | Creator | Bond → the queue. Pool: reserved_lamports += loan (counts against the outstanding cap and the launch room); queues_open += 1. |
commit / uncommit | Anyone | SOL into / out of the queue, 0.05 SOL to 2 SOL per wallet. Nothing touches the pool. |
| post to vote | Anyone with a public X account | Each counted post is 0.5 SOL of credit on the bar, and posts fill at most half of the target: the pool's loan always waits for at least half the target in committed SOL. The indexer finds posts through X's public embed, re-checks them when it signs, and signs the total with the platform's attestor key. |
launch | Anyone (a crank) | Reservation released, then the loan leaves idle as a normal sponsorship (room, outstanding, utilization and daily budget checked here): pump.fun create, the vault's buy, then the committers' buy. Unspent SOL returns to idle. Queued launches pour 0% of the loan into the floor at create. |
expire | Anyone, after the deadline | Reservation released, queues_expired += 1; every commitment becomes refundable with refund. The bond goes back to the creator unless less than 1 SOL was committed — then it is forfeited to the pool as income. |
claim_tokens | Each committer | Their pro-rata share of the committers' buy, plus any dust the buy didn't spend. |
When the pool can't cover a filled queue's loan, the operator may draw the shortfall from $LOADED's ammo straight into that queue (draw_launch_credit, the same trigger rules as the credit line); the launch then owes $LOADED 125% of it ahead of $LOADED's profit share, and an expired queue hands the credit straight back. Depositors see every open queue's reservation on the pool page.
Withdrawing#
| Step | Who | Rule |
|---|---|---|
request_withdraw(shares) | You | Opens a ticket. It unlocks no sooner than 2 days later. No cancel; the shares keep bearing losses while they wait. |
process_withdrawals | Anyone | Pays due tickets in queue order (FIFO), from idle SOL only, into each ticket account. A partial fill stays at the head of the queue. While NAV is 0 it pays nothing, even with idle SOL. |
claim_withdrawal | You | Moves what was paid into your ticket to your wallet; a fully paid ticket closes and its rent comes back too. |
close_position | You | Closes an empty position with no open tickets and returns its rent. |
- Paid at the lower price. A ticket pays min(the share price when you asked, the share price at payout). A loss between request and payout hits you; a gain doesn't.
- Only from idle SOL. SOL out in launches comes back when the tokens sell. If idle is short, you wait. SOL the pool owes $LOADED on the credit line is never paid out — to you or to the admin. New launches, though, may spend the SOL the pool borrowed from $LOADED.
- Withdrawals can't be paused: switching the pool off stops launches and deposits only.
The credit line#
When the pool is short, its operator may borrow from $LOADED's ammo and owes it back at 125%. The 25% premium is a loss to depositors the moment it is drawn, and what is owed stays ≤ 20% of NAV. The full rules.
Stuck positions#
A sponsored coin whose inventory is worth less than what it still owes can be marked down by anyone with impair_sponsor_position, from 3 days after launch. The loss hits NAV at once; whatever the tokens later recover comes back as vesting income.
The keys over the pool#
- The platform admin can withdraw idle pool SOL with
admin_withdraw_pool(never what the pool owes $LOADED); every share, queued or not, carries that loss at once.admin_withdraw_vaulton a pool-sponsored coin takes the tokens the pool's principal sits in; the unrepaid principal is written off the NAV. Each withdrawal is a publicPoolAdminWithdrawnevent with running totals on chain. Admin powers. - The upgrade authority, until revoked, can replace the program and every rule on this page.
- The pool authority can change settings within hard bounds (a delay up to 14 days, vesting up to 30 days, caps, deposits open or closed). It cannot move SOL.
Deposit and withdraw on the sponsor pool page. Past returns are realized returns, not a promise.
